Short Term Home Rentals A Sustainable Community of Vacation Homes

  1. LOCKUP:
Please lock all doors and windows, close curtains and blinds and leave key(s) on the kitchen counter,
unless you have made other arrangements with the Homeowner.
  2. CLEANUP:
You are not expected to “completely clean” the house. However, a few simple things will make it
much easier to quickly accomplish clean-up. Anything positive you can do (including a nice “Thank
You Note” to the owners) will greatly increase the chances of this home being available again for
families visiting the area. Of course, you are expected to clean up any “messes” or “accidents” as they
occur. And please do let us know if any dishes or furniture accidentally break – it can happen – so be
    up front please.
  3. LINENS:
Please gather used bedding, towels and any other linens and place in laundry room. If possible, start
to wash/dry linens. Owners will appreciate all you can do to cut down on wash/dry loads.
  4. KITCHEN & BATHROOMS:
Please wipe down all counters, sinks and stove top in kitchen and bathrooms. Especially food
spills/grease/toothpaste, etc. Please wash and neatly put away kitchen cookware and dishes. This is a
    nice courtesy.
  5. REPLACE ITEMS:
Please be sure that all items you have used or moved (blankets, pillows, TV remotes, CD’s, DVD’s
and furniture) are returned to where you found them.
  6. OUTSIDE:
Please check for litter in the “yard” and dispose of properly. Would be nice if you can bring any mail
    or newspapers inside for owners.
  7. TRASH:
Gather all trash and place in appropriate recycle bins (if available) or trash cans.
  8. CARPETS & FLOORS:
If they are unusually dirty, it would be greatly appreciated if you would vacuum or sweep as needed.
Anything that can bring a smile to the returning homeowner helps out!
  9. Please notify us regarding any maintenance issues.
  10. Please do remember to share info below with any other families you might know so we can
continue to serve families in win-win situations in the future.
